If you’ve tried “EVERY diet under the sun” and you’re still stuck in a fat loss plateau, this conversation is for you.

Whether you’ve been dieting for one month or ten years, dieting changes your quality of life!

At first, it feels like the structure you need for true weight loss! Keto gives you rules, intermittent fasting gives you timing, and Whole30 gives you boundaries – which, for my gals who love control, this made you feel like you DID have control.

But over time, those rules stop being something you follow and start becoming something that push you into a “diet box” with lots of food guilt.

❌Carbs are bad.

❌Dessert is off limits.

❌If the scale is up, I did something wrong.

And without even realizing it, your everyday thoughts become diet thoughts.

👎Social events feel stressful because you might get “off track”.

👎Holidays revolve around not gaining weight instead of making memories.

You order the salad when you want the burger, then end up bingeing later (which only leads you to feel 👎like you need to make up for the binge the next day).

And it is exhausting.

The Fat Loss Plateau Is Often a Metabolism Health Issue

Here’s the part most women miss (because diets share the quick fix results, but hide the longer term problems)!

If you’ve been chronically under-eating, your body adapts. 👀

This is called metabolic adaptation! Think: metabolic, metabolism! And adaptation, adapting!

When calories stay low for long enough, your metabolism will actually adapt to that lower calorie intake. Which means, energy output decreases, hunger hormones shift, stress increases, and your body tries to survive at 1,200 calories (when really it might need 2,000+ calories).

And what happens?

You hit a fat loss plateau, which leads you to assume you need to eat less.

When in reality, your metabolism needs to be HEALED so you can eat more and help your body burn fat more efficiently!

The way to do this? Through a reverse diet!

A properly structured reverse diet gradually increases calories so your body can rebuild metabolic capacity. When your metabolism is fueled, hormones regulate better. Training improves. Recovery improves. And fat loss becomes physiologically possible again.

The Belief That Is Quietly Holding You Back

Now let’s talk about the emotional layer.

💭“I’ll be happy when I lose weight.”

💭Just three more pounds.

💭Just one lower number on the scale.

…then I’ll feel confident.

But if happiness is always waiting for a smaller body, you never actually hit that goal if you continue to diet!
