Episode 102: Sustainable Fat Loss For Busy Women

What’s up? Today, I want to share my top tips for busy women to lose fat sustainably. As a busy person myself, always on the go and working full time, I understand the struggle of finding time to take care of yourself. Many women feel the same way and believe they don’t have the time to focus on their health and fitness goals. They may also feel unsure about how to make the time or where to start. In this episode, I will provide you with actionable steps to help you achieve sustainable fat loss without sacrificing your busy lifestyle.

Tip 1: Make it Fit into Your Life Reflect on your past dieting experiences and why they didn’t last. Often, diets fail because they require drastic changes that are not sustainable. You don’t need to eat extremely low carbs or high protein to see results. Find an approach that fits naturally into your life and allows for flexibility. Small changes over time can add up to significant results.

Tip 2: Follow the Four P’s Framework Make sure your approach to fat loss is sustainable, maintainable, educational, and enjoyable. This means finding a plan that is realistic for you, providing long-term results, teaching you about nutrition and fitness, and allowing you to enjoy your life while achieving your goals.

Tip 3: Meal Prep Made Easy Meal prepping doesn’t have to be time-consuming. Spend around 30 minutes to an hour once a week to prepare your food for the week ahead. Chop vegetables, use a veggie chopper to save time, and create a “grab and go” setup, similar to Chipotle’s style. This way, you can have healthy meals ready to eat without spending hours in the kitchen.

Tip 4: Find Your Fitness Fit Strength training is not the only way to see results. Find a form of exercise that you enjoy, whether it’s yoga, Pilates, running, or any other activity. You don’t have to spend hours at the gym. Incorporate movement into your daily life by taking walks, using the stairs, and being active in general.

Remember, sustainable fat loss is not about quick fixes or extreme measures. It’s about making small, realistic changes that fit into your lifestyle. By being intentional and taking care of yourself, you can achieve your goals without sacrificing other aspects of your life. Don’t wait for the perfect moment, start now and create a healthier, happier future for yourself.
