The Resolution Loop You’re Stuck In

Every year, thousands of women write down the same fat loss goals on January 1.

“Lose 20 pounds.”

“Stop binge eating.”

“Cut out carbs.”

And every year, most of those goals end in burnout, frustration, and a whole lot of self-blame.

If you’re nodding your head, you’re not alone, and you’re not failing. You’re just following a method that doesn’t work.

And I’ve got a better way. One that’s helped me (and thousands of my clients) finally see results that last.

Why Resolutions Fail (Even with the Best Intentions)

Most resolutions fall into one of three categories:

  • Too vague (“lose weight” with no action plan)
  • Too shallow (focused only on outcome, not process)
  • Too rushed (expecting 10+ years of diet damage to disappear in 21 days)

And don’t get me started on how many women skip the one thing that could actually help: a reverse diet.

Yep, I said it.

Reverse Dieting Is Often the Step You’re Avoiding

If you’ve been eating 1,200 calories or less and still aren’t seeing results, trying another fat loss phase won’t help — because your metabolism needs a reset.

And yes, committing to a reverse diet can be scary. Starting ANYTHING that creates massive change and growth can be scary.

I’ve had women spend MONTHS (even years) doing everything but the thing they know they need, out of fear. Fear of failure. Fear of gaining weight. Fear of trying something new.

But what if the thing you’re most afraid of… is actually the one thing that will finally work?

You’re Not Lazy. You Just Need a New Approach.

If you’ve ever written the same resolution multiple years in a row, it’s not because you’re not trying, it’s because the approach hasn’t been working.

You don’t need more willpower.

You don’t need to cut more carbs.

You don’t need to try another Whole30.

You need:

  • Clarity around what you actually want (and why)
  • A system that supports your metabolism (not one that tanks it)
  • Macro targets that adapt to your body and lifestyle (not random calculator numbers)

If you’ve been spinning in the cycle of food guilt, low energy, and binge/restrict — the solution isn’t harder dieting. It’s a smarter strategy.

The Compound Effect of Consistency

One of the most powerful shifts I made was releasing the timeline.

Instead of expecting to heal 10 years of diet damage in 30 days, I committed to showing up consistently: hitting my macros, learning how to fuel my body, and giving myself grace on the hard days.

This is how fat loss actually happens.

It’s not flashy. It’s not viral-TikTok-trendy. It’s just science + consistency.
